Devices purchased through linked channels can appear in Apple Business and be assigned to device management before activation, allowing the setup workflow to begin automatically when the user turns the device on.

Verify the organization and domains

Validate the organization, domains, permissions and administration model.

Connect identity

Integrate Microsoft Entra ID, Google Workspace or a supported identity provider and configure Managed Apple Account synchronization.

Connect device management

Enable Apple Business built-in device management or connect an external management service, depending on the target architecture.

Link suppliers and assignment

Add the applicable Apple Customer Number for direct Apple purchases, or share your Organization ID and add the supplier’s Reseller Number for a participating reseller or carrier, then configure default assignment and validate the workflow from purchase through enrollment.

Validate and transition

Run a pilot, document the configuration and hand the environment to your team or transition it into ZYS-managed operations.

Frequently asked questions

Can existing devices be added?

In some cases, yes. Supported organization-owned devices can be added to Apple Business using Apple Configurator, subject to device eligibility. For purchases from a participating Apple Authorized Reseller or authorized cellular carrier, the organization shares its Organization ID and adds the supplier’s Reseller Number; the supplier must then submit the applicable orders to Apple. Linking the identifiers alone does not submit orders automatically. For purchases directly from Apple, the applicable Apple Customer Number is used. We review the device model, purchase source and current state before recommending the enrollment path.

Does the service create vendor lock-in with ZYS?

No. Your Apple Business environment belongs to your organization. If ZYS provides managed services, our permissions are limited to the agreed scope and remain under your organization’s control.

What if we already use Apple Business?

We do not rebuild for the sake of it. We review identity, device suppliers, management assignments and enrollment workflows, close the gaps and continue from the existing environment.
